Tomo Adachi

Tomo Adachi is an Ottawa-based actor, singer, and musical theatre performer. His stage credits include Michal in The Pillowman, David in On the Verge of Whiteness, and Cyrano in Book Lover (all with Marginally Fit Productions), as well as Preparer 2 in Pachinko (Apple TV). His musical theatre performances include Mr. Grey in Rent and the Governor in Olive! (both with Suzart Productions). He is grateful to Marginally Fit Productions for the opportunity to be part of the historically important play Sisters Matsumoto.

Harold Chung

Bola

Harold is thrilled to play Bola, Chiz’s supportive husband, in Sisters Matsumoto. Whether digging in the dirt or hunting for birds, Bola is the boisterous, energetic one helping the family start over after the war. Recent credits include Dreamgirls (Orpheus), The Addams Family Musical (LBMT), and Roald Dahl’s Matilda (Suzart). Offstage, Harold is a musician who enjoys playing guitar and singing folk and contemporary songs, and has recently begun exploring classical voice. He is grateful to share this important story with such a talented cast and creative team, and thanks his family for their constant support throughout rehearsals.

Jorge Corechi Herrejón

Jorge Corichi Herrejón was born and raised in Mexico and has a passion for bringing powerful stories to life on stage. He has previously collaborated with Lorien Productions, contributing to the mounting of several theatrical works, and has performed with The Improv Embassy, where he honed his improvisational skills and comedic timing. Jorge is driven by a deep interest in creating thrilling and captivating performances that resonate with audiences and convey meaningful messages. He hopes to continue growing as an artist and sharing stories that connect with people in an honest and heartfelt way.

Bruce Rayfuse

Bruce is delighted to be joining this talented cast and crew for the production of this important and moving play. Bruce has been part of the community theatre scene in Ottawa for more than fifteen years. He has appeared in plays at the Glebe Neighbourhood Theatre, Kanata Theatre, Phoenix Players, and Ottawa Little Theatre, among others. He has studied acting at the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama, the Acting Company, the Glebe Acting Studio and the Screen Acting Academy.
